Where to find Clinical Research Jobs
At this page we will list a couple of resources where you may look for CRA jobs. Another great source is to check out the CRO companies at LinkedIn. They will usually post vacancies there as well.
When to apply
Never send your application in the last minute. Some people mean that recruiters consider “last minute applications” differently. It may show that you constantly push everything forward and wait as long as possible to finish something. It might be true but there’s another reason why you should apply immediately. Usually the company will consider applications before the application period close. If they find a “perfect match” they won’t wait. Great people might get employed by someone else.
Also, it’s difficult for recruiters to plan their schedule several weeks in advance. All of a sudden they might be booked for something else that collides with the end of the application period. In that case, they might start digging through resumes and cover letters earlier.
Should I apply for lots of jobs or focus on a couple of applications?
Tricky question! The experienced job seeker knows that you should only aim for the positions that really suits your goals. However, in the beginning of your career it’s more essential to get your “foot in the door”, and it’s wise to broaden your target a bit.
But don’t let it shine through that you’re applying for every single job out there. Still, every application must be tailor-made. Recruiters hate applications that are non-personal and looks like a dull “template” that you’re sending to every company out there. Remember that you’re competing against others. If your application doesn’t stand out, someone else’s will!
